Campgrounds of Great Basin
Great Basin National Park is in a very remote area of eastern Nevada. The limited services in the region make camping an even more attractive option than it is at most other national parks.
Baker Creek Campground
Size & Cost: 37 sites, $20 per site
Open: May through October

Location: About three miles down the unpaved Baker Creek Road
Amenities: Running water, vault toilets, grills and picnic tables
Demand: Medium. In the height of summer season the campground may fill.
Grey Cliffs Campground
Size & Cost: 16 sites, $20 per site
Open: Late May through September
Reservations: Online at recreation.gov
Location: 1.5 miles down the unpaved Baker Creek Road
Amenities: Vault toilets, grills and picnic tables – there is no fresh water
Demand: High. In the height of summer season the campground often fills
Lower Lehman Creek Campground
Size & Cost: 11 sites, $20 per site
Open: All Year
Reservations: May through October, online at recreation.gov
Location: 1.9 miles up the Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive
Amenities: Running water (in summer), vault toilets, grills and picnic tables
Demand: Medium. In the height of summer season the campground may fill.
Upper Lehman Creek Campground
Size & Cost: 23 sites, $20 per site
Open: April through October

Location: 2.4 miles up the Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive
Amenities: Running water, vault toilets, grills and picnic tables
Demand: Medium. In the height of summer season the campground may fill.
Wheeler Peak Campground
Size & Cost: 37 sites, $20 per site
Open: June through October

Location: At the end of the Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive
Amenities: Running water, vault toilets, grills and picnic tables
Demand: Very high. This campground is at almost 10,000 feet and the most convenient to the park’s popular hikes. In summer it is very likely to fill by evening.
