Campgrounds of Biscayne
There are two campgrounds within Biscayne National Park. Both are located on keys, and require a boat to reach them. There are no camping areas on the mainland.
Boca Chita Key Campground
Size & Cost: Open area, $25 per site
Open: All Year
Reservations: No, first come, first served
Location: Boca Chita Key, accessible by boat only
Amenities: Saltwater toilets, picnic tables, grills – there is no fresh water
Demand: High. This is the only camping area on Boca Chita Key, and a boat is necessary to access it. During the winter season it often fills, especially on weekends and holidays.
Elliott Key Campground
Size & Cost: 40 sites, $25 per site
Open: All Year
Reservations: No, first come, first served
Location: Elliot Key, accessible by boat only
Amenities: Running water, flush toilets, picnic tables, grills
Demand: Moderate. This campground is on Elliot Key. A boat is necessary to access it. During the winter season it sometimes fills, especially on weekends and holidays.
