Weather in American Samoa
American Samoa is warm, humid and rainy year-round. Located south of the equator, its seasons are the opposite of the United States and the rest of the northern hemisphere. The park has a long wet summer (October – May) and a slightly cooler and drier season (June – September). Rain showers are frequent and last anywhere from a few minutes to several days. Average annual rainfall is 125 inches at the airport at Pago Pago and up to 200 inches elsewhere on the islands.
