Sleeping in or near Redwood
Redwood National Park has no lodging inside the park boundaries. The makeup of the park (a disjointed mixture of California State Parks and national park land) makes for a difficult determination of a main entrance, or location.
Crescent City overnight lodging options
The city of Crescent City lies on the coast near the California-Oregon border. It is near both Jedidiah Smith Redwoods and Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Parks. It is the home of park headquarters and main visitor center. Crescent City has all necessary services, including lodging.
