Campgrounds of Olympic
There are campgrounds scattered all over the vast area of Olympic National Park, with one or more in each of the visited areas. They are in various states of development, although the most popular areas have at least one well-developed area.
Deer Park Campground
Size & Cost: 14 sites, $15 per site
Open: June through October
Reservations: No, first come, first served
Location: Down the Deer Park Road, which turns to gravel 9 miles after leaving US-101
Amenities: Vault toilets, fire rings and picnic tables – there is no fresh water
Demand: High. As with all of Olympic National Park’s campgrounds, it is subject to fill at any time, especially in summer.
Fairholme Campground
Size & Cost: 88 sites, $24 per site
Open: May through October
Reservations: Online at recreation.gov
Location: Off of US-101 at the west end of Lake Crescent
Amenities: Running water, flush toilets, fire rings and picnic tables, dump station
Demand: Very high. This campground is near the shore of Lake Crescent and is very popular in summer.
Graves Creek Campground
Size & Cost: 30 sites, $20 per site
Open: All Year
Reservations: No, first come, first served
Location: In the Quinault Rain Forest
Amenities: Vault toilets, fire rings and picnic tables – there is no fresh water
Demand: High. As with all of Olympic National Park’s campgrounds, it is subject to fill at any time, especially in summer.
Heart O’ the Hills Campground
Size & Cost: 105 sites, $24 per site
Open: All Year
Reservations: No, first come, first served
Location: 5.2 miles beyond the Heart O’ the Hills Entrance on Hurricane Ridge Road
Amenities: Running water, flush toilets, fire rings and picnic tables
Demand: High. As with all of Olympic National Park’s campgrounds, it is subject to fill at any time, especially in summer.
Hoh Campground
Size & Cost: 72 sites, $24 per site
Open: All Year
Reservations: In summer, online at recreation.gov
Location: 6 miles from the Hoh Entrance on Hoh Road, 0.4 miles from the Hoh Rain Forest
Amenities: Running water, flush toilets, fire rings and picnic tables
Demand: High. As with all of Olympic National Park’s campgrounds, it is subject to fill at any time, especially in summer.
Kalaloch Campground
Size & Cost: 170 sites, $24 per site
Open: All Year
Reservations: In summer, online at recreation.gov
Location: Off US-101 35 miles south of Forks
Amenities: Running water, flush toilets, fire rings and picnic tables, dump station
Demand: Very high. This campground is right next to the Pacific Ocean, and is very popular. Reservations strongly suggested.
Mora Campground
Size & Cost: 94 sites, $24 per site
Open: All Year
Reservations: In summer, online at recreation.gov
Location: 14 miles west of Forks on Mora Road
Amenities: Running water, flush toilets, fire rings and picnic tables, dump station
Demand: High. As with all of Olympic National Park’s campgrounds, it is subject to fill at any time, especially in summer.
North Fork Campground
Size & Cost: 9 sites, $20 per site
Open: All Year

Location: In the Quinault Rain Forest
Amenities: Vault toilets, fire rings and picnic tables – there is no fresh water
Demand: High. As with all of Olympic National Park’s campgrounds, it is subject to fill at any time, especially in summer.
Ozette Campground

Open: All Year (subject to flooding in winter)

Location: Next to Ozette Lake
Amenities: Vault toilets, fire rings and picnic tables – there is no fresh water
Demand: High. As with all of Olympic National Park’s campgrounds, it is subject to fill at any time, especially in summer.
Queets Campground
Size & Cost: 20 sites, $15 per site
Open: All Year
Reservations: No, first come, first served
Location: 11 miles off of US-101 in the Upper Queets area
Amenities: Vault toilets, fire rings and picnic tables – there is no fresh water
Demand: Medium. This campground is primitive and very remote, and occasionally fills.
Sol Duc Campground
Size & Cost: 82 sites, $25-50 per site
Open: March through October
Reservations: Online at recreation.gov
Location: 12.4 miles from the Sol Duc Entrance on Sol Duc Road
Amenities: Running water, flush toilets, fire rings and picnic tables, dump station, some RV sites with hookups
Demand: Very high. As with all of Olympic National Park’s campgrounds, it is subject to fill at any time, especially in summer.
South Beach Campground
Size & Cost: 55 sites, $20 per site
Open: May through September
Reservations: No, first come, first served
Location: On US-101 three miles south of Kalaloch Campground
Amenities: Vault toilets, fire rings and picnic tables – there is no fresh water
Demand: High. This is essentially an overflow area for the very popular Kalaloch Campground. It is right next to the Pacific Ocean.
Staircase Campground
Size & Cost: 49 sites, $24 per site
Open: All Year (primitive in winter)
Reservations: No, first come, first served
Location: At the end of the Staircase Road off of US-101
Amenities: Running water, flush toilets, fire rings and picnic tables (no water in winter)
Demand: High. As with all of Olympic National Park’s campgrounds, it is subject to fill at any time, especially in summer.
