Campgrounds of Bryce Canyon
There are two developed frontcountry campgrounds in Bryce Canyon. They are located near each other, although North Campground in closer to the main visitor areas.
North Campground
Size & Cost: 107 sites, $20-$30 per site
Open: At least partially open all year
Reservations: May through October, Online at recreation.gov
Location: Just off of the Bryce Canyon Road 1.3 miles from the park entrance, across from visitor center.
Amenities: Running water, flush toilets, fire rings, picnic tables. Showers and laundry available nearby at the general store for a fee. A dump station is also available for a fee, in summer only.
Demand: Very high. It is close to the general store, and a short walk from the canyon rim. Reservations are strongly suggested in the summer.
Sunset Campground
Size & Cost: 99 sites, $20-$30 per site
Open: April through October
Reservations: Online at recreation.gov
Location: Just off of the Bryce Canyon Road 2.4 miles from the park entrance, opposite Sunset Point.
Amenities: Running water, flush toilets, fire rings, picnic tables. Showers and laundry available at the general store near North Campground above, for a fee. A dump station is also available for a fee, in summer only.
Demand: Very high. It is a bit further from the canyon rim and visitor services than North Campground, but also a bit quieter. Reservations are suggested in the summer.
