It’s loaded with information on all facets of the park, along with lots of great color photography. This is the best book covering the shorter hikes in all five of Utah’s spectacular national parks. It’s recently updated in 2021 to a third edition by a new author. If your main concern is dayhiking, in any of Utah’s five national parks, this is the book to have.

Hiking Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks
This is Falcon’s offering for hiking Zion as well as nearby Bryce Canyon. While the book above is probably best if you intend to visit all of the Utah parks, this one is best if your hiking will only take you to Zion and Bryce Canyon. For the dayhike-only version, see below. We use this book personally and recommend it.
