Getting to Zion National Park
Driving to Zion
UT-9 is the route into the Zion Canyon section of the park. This road is followed through the town of Springdale to the south entrance, or off of US89 to the east entrance. Within the park this road is known as the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway. To access the Kolob Canyons section, take Exit 40 off of I-15. The remote Kolob Terrace section is reached by taking Kolob Terrace Road off of UT-9 in the town of Virgin. This road is usually closed by ice and snow in the winter.
If you’d like to plot directions from your location use the interactive map below. The marker shows the location of the Zion Canyon Visitor Center in Zion.

Official Park Map
Below is the official park map provided by the National Park Service. You can view either the original PDF file or a simple JPEG image file (some of these files can be quite large). Note that while this map is useful for general navigation around the park, if you plan to do any hiking, you should really have a proper Zion Trail Map.
